A half day seminar on LED Lighting was held on 6th August 2010 at TEEAM Conference Room. The seminar was organised by TÜV SÜD PSB (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and was supported by TEEAM. The seminar provided insights into lighting product evaluation, energy efficiency and suitability of LED for lighting. Speakers were Mr Tan Heng Khoon and Mr Derrick Sim Boon Hwa from the electrical and electronics department of TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore. They shared with the participants the performance and safety evaluation, maintenance factors, energy efficiency measurements, applicable IEC standards and international product certification. The seminar successfully drew a crowd of 43 participants from the lighting industry. It was an informative seminar. The seminar ended with an interactive Q & A session.
