TEEAM will be organising a series of workshops on wiring design aimed to provide an in-depth coverage of topics directly related to cable sizing and designing of safe LV wiring system.
It is an essential workshop for practitioners in the electrical power industry at all levels, whether they are contractors, consultants, project managers, facility managers, regulators or competent personnel. The workshop is led by experienced practitioners and aims to provide a condensed version of wiring design. Topics covered are:
- Efficient energy manager regulations 2008
- MS IEC 60364, MS 1979 & MS 1936
- RCDs & fuses
- Short circuit & voltage drop studies
- Fundamentals of power quality
The first series was held on 18th & 19th November 2014 at Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This was followed by the second series on 26th January 2015 at Vistana Bukit Jambul, Penang. This workshop is supported by the Energy Commission, the International Copper Association Ltd, Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia, Institution of Engineers Malaysia, the Public Works Department and Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
TEEAM will be organising four more series in the second half of 2015 in the Klang Valley, Ipoh, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu.
