TEEAM together with MIDA successfully organised an exclusive Webinar on Smart Automation Grant (SAG) for TEEAM Members on 26 January 2021. It attracted 90 participants. The webinar provided an overview of the grant which comprises eligibility criteria & expenditure, evaluation and approval process. MIDA also offered an interactive one-to-one Virtual Consultation session between members and MIDA officers at the end of the session.

The newly announced SAG is aimed to boost strategic domestic investments and assist the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and mid-tier companies to future-proof their operations, production and trade channels. The SAG initiative is part of the RM100 million allocation within the National Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA), which was announced in June 2020.
