TEEAM organised a trade mission of 20 members to visit ELECRAMA 2014, the flagship event of the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) which was held from 8th-12th January 2014 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bangalore, India.  In its 11th edition since 1990, the event is the world’s largest conference and exhibition on power transmission and distribution sector.   ELECRAMA 2014 spanned over 70,000 square meters of gross space with over 850 exhibitors from India and more than 300 exhibitors from overseas displaying their products and technologies.  The TEEAM delegates were very impressed by the large exhibition halls and the vast range of exhibits and technologies displayed.  TEEAM also had a booth at ELECRAMA to promote the association’s activities and also members’ products.

TEEAM delegates also participated in the second Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) concurrently organised with ELECRAMA 2014 for foreign buyers to source electrical products and equipment from India.  Around 450 buyers from countries of ASEAN, Africa, Latin America, CIS (Commonwealth of Independence States) and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) participated in the RBSM.
