TEEAM PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Members of TEEAM & Rakyat Malaysia,

The world is facing an unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic and it has affected each and every living being on earth. Deadly as it is, currently there are no medicine and vaccines that can cure or prevent infection.

In respond to this Covid-19 pandemic, the Malaysia Government made an announcement to extend the Movement Control Order (MCO) until 14th April 2020 to help contain the spread.

Our Government has made a decision to impose MCO to break the link and flatten the curve of this Covid-19 which is taking away precious lives on daily basis. This Covid-19 pandemic has caused 24,090 deaths, and has infected 532,263 peoples across the globe as on 27th Mac 2020. Unfortunately, Malaysia is listed at no. 20 on the list.

I understand that, this MCO has badly affected our members’ businesses, daily lifestyle and activities. We have no choice but to comply to this order to stay at home to contain the spread.

I want to thank our members who are part of the essential supply and services, risking their lives to operate while battling this Covid-19 virus.

Members who are non-essential services are doing a great job by keeping calm, staying safe, staying positive, and most importantly staying at home to combat this virus.

TEEAM highly appreciate and sincerely thank all the frontliners and all TEEAM members for all your heroic act battling Covid-19 deadly disease.
