The Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM), through its CSR & ESG Sub-Committee, successfully organised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme at SJKT Saraswathy, Sungai Buloh on 17 July 2026.
Held in collaboration with Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPS) Zones 22 & 23, IPD Sungai Buloh, and Pasukan Pertubuhan Bomba Sukarela Sungai Buloh, the programme benefited approximately 160 students and 15 teachers through educational and community engagement activities.
►Electrical Safety Awareness
Dr. Ir. T. Prabakaran Rajah, TEEAM Council Member, delivered an engaging Ceramah Kesedaran Keselamatan Elektrik, followed by an interactive quiz to educate students on the safe use of electricity.
►Crime Prevention Awareness
ASP Mohd Fauzi Bin Zakaria from IPD Sungai Buloh conducted the Program Oscar session, highlighting the importance of crime prevention and addressing bullying through his talk on Jenayah Buli.
►Giving Back to the Community
The programme also included a school campus tour, presentation of certificates, contribution gifts, and prizes to the school.
The event was honoured by the presence of representatives from Majlis Perbandaran Selayang, including Tuan Tan Lai Sen (MPS Zone 22), Tuan Tan Teong Guan (MPS Zone 23), and Tuan Ng Kok Chuan (Former MPS Councillor, Zone 22). Also in attendance were Ketua Cawangan Khas IPD Sg. Buloh, ASP Mohd Fauzi Bin Zakaria; Ketua Polis Balai Sg. Buloh, Insp. Fairus Bin Fadzil; and Ketua Pasukan Pertubuhan Bomba Sukarela Sg. Buloh, Mr Jason Beh.
Representing the school were Puan Magaswary, Principal of SJKT Saraswathy, and Ms. Jeya Kumari, Deputy Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG).
TEEAM was represented by President Mr. Albert Tan, Deputy President Ts. Lim Sai Seong, Vice President Ir. Lee Kok Chong, Honorary Secretary Mr. Chris Yow, Honorary Treasurer Dato’ Andy Tan, Assistant Honorary Treasurer Datuk Jacky Chen, and Council Members Ir. Ts. Roger Wong, Mr. Steven Lee, Dr. Ir. T. Prabakaran Rajah, Mr. Chow Wing Kah, Tc. How Chee Seng, and Mr. Derrick Wong. Member Ms. Lyve Liew and Malaysia badminton legend Datuk Foo Kok Keong were present to support too.
