EPRE 2015 was the 11th series of Electric, Power & Renewable Energy Malaysia Show. Held from 25th – 27th March 2015 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, EPRE 2015 saw a total of 3,257 trade visitors and 170 B2B meetings generated and facilitated throughout the three days. TEEAM together with a number of members took part in the exhibition.
The exhibition was hosted by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and supported by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia (KeTTHA), Energy Commission, Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC), SEDA Malaysia, Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), Malaysia Cable Manufacturers Association (MCMA), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and TEEAM.
The event was packed with exciting business activities such as:-
- Power Quality Workshop by TEEAM and Smart Grids Talk 2015 by Fleming Gulf Conferences on 25 March 2015.
- Technical Seminar throughout the show day by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), The Energy Regulatory Commission of The Philippines, Malaysia Cable Manufacturers Association (MCMA), UNITEN, TNB Research, International Capacitors (Spain) and various Exhibitors.
- The Opening Ceremony on 26 March 2015, officiated by Dato’ Seri DiRaja Mahdzir Khalid, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia (KeTTHA), followed by a Participation Contract Signing Ceremony at the IGEM 2015 booth.
- TEEAM Council Meeting on 26th March 2015.
- Special attendance of 6 Hosted VIPs from HWB Asia Pacific (The Philippines), Energy Regulatory Comission of The Philippines, Public Utility Commission of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority, Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia and SOLEXEL Malaysia.
- Special Show Visit by the Spanish Association of Electrical Equipment Manufacturers (AFME).
- 2 International Pavilions: German & Korea; and 2 Industry Pavilions: The TNB Bumiputera Vendors Development Programme (TNB BVDP) & TEEAM.
- Daily Lucky Draw sessions where 2 x Iphone 6, 1 Mini Ipad and 1 Samsung Galaxy Note 4 were given away!
