The TEEAM Engineering Construction & Services Committee orgainsed a 2-Day Technical Visits to Furutec Electrical Sdn Bhd, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and QAV Technologies Sdn Bhd which are based in Penang. TEEAM received 27 participants including members from Persatuan Kekompetenan Penjaga Jentera & Pendawai Elektrik Perak (Perak Electrical Chargemen & Wiremen Competence Association, PKPPE) and Penang Electrical Merchants’ Association (PEMA). The key purpose of the visits was to enable its participants to gain a much deeper understanding on Furutec’s busbar manufacturing and Osram LED’s components manufacturing activities, as well as the various testing facilities available at QAV. It also provided a great platform to network and creates business opportunities.
