A technical visit to Clipsal Manufacturing / Schneider Electric was organised for TEEAM members on 21st December 2015. Some 25 members took part in this interesting visit.

Clipsal Manufacturing plant in Shah Alam was established in 1977 and has some 500 employees. The plant is ISO certified and its main products are residential and industrial sockets & switches and fans.

During the visit, participants learnt about the products manufacturing process and they were impressed with the high quality products and safety standards practised. The plant is also equipped with in-house testing capabilities such as high voltage test, endurance test and temperature rising test.

It was an interactive and informative visit. TEEAM wishes to record its thanks and appreciation to Clipsal Manufacturing / Schneider Electric for hosting the visit and giving a sumptuous lunch. It was certainly worth visiting and keeping in good memory!
