A 3-day SKM Supervisory Course was successfully held from 16th to 18th March 2012 at TEEAM with a total of 15 participants attended. It was conducted by a very accomplished speaker, Mr Mohd Dom Bin Osman who has vast experience in the industry. The modules covered during the 3-day course were:
- MO1 – Enforce industrial safety
- MO2 – Plan work
- MO3 – Identify resources and process
- MO4 – Determine duration of work
- MO5 – Monitor quality of work against standard
- MO6 – Communication techniques
- MO7 – Conduct presentation and training needs
- MO8 – Evaluate competency
The Education & Training Chairman, Mr Perumal chaired and also attended the course. Each participant was given a work portfolio to work on and the portfolio was submitted on 24th March 2012 at TEEAM.
An External Verification officer, Mr Yusof Bin Abdul Jamil verified the completed portfolios on 12th May 2012 and thereafter certificates were given to the participants. All participants had benefited from the said course where they had the opportunity to learn a different scope of work besides their current work. It was very useful and helpful to formalise their work.
