Over the past two years, TEEAM received the most overwhelming response for the national campaign on Self-Test Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) from Ipoh Station in 2015. TEEAM conducted another roadshow in Ipoh this year to create more awareness and to brief the public on the importance of Self-Test RCCB at home. A 2-day roadshow was held on 4th & 5th June 2016 at the AEON Ipoh Station 18 Shopping Centre. This was jointly organised with the local State Associations, namely, Perak Electrical Chargemen & Wiremen Competence Association (PKPPE) and the Perak Electrical Association (PEA). It was supported and sponsored by Schneider Electric Industries Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
The roadshow provided a good platform to successfully reach out to the set target of one million people in Malaysia, in order for them to understand the importance of RCCB self-testing electrical safety procedure at home.
TEEAM appreciates the media and newspaper coverage from NTV 7, 988 Radio Station, Sin Chew Daily, China Press, Nanyang Siang Pau and Oriental Daily and others for the Public Service Announcement (PSAs) and timely news publishing about this crucial life-saving programme for the masses. The roadshow was a great success and it received good response from the local communities.
