TEEAM attended the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 Open Day on 6 July 2023 at MITI Tower. The NIMP 2030 is a new policy document that will drive industry transformation towards achieving our national aspirations. The Master Plan articulates a set of comprehensive strategies and action plans to ensure synergies at both the policy and industry levels, particularly in creating supportive ecosystems to help catalyse Malaysia’s industrial development into the future. MITI has conducted multiple engagement sessions and syndications with the respective ministries and agencies, as well as with the industries to gather input and insights to be incorporated into the draft NIMP.

Today’s NIMP 2030 Open Day allows more stakeholders to be involved in the process and be part of the industrial policy development. TEEAM was represented by Ir. Chang Yew Cheong (President), Dr. Siew Choon Thye (Immediate Past President), Ts. Lim Sai Seong (Deputy President), Mr. Derrick Wong (Council Member) and Ms. Tan Ai Peng (Council Member). It was a fruitful engagement.
