TEEAM in collaboration with MCMA successfully organised the “MS IEC 60364 Outreach Conference on Electrical Installations on Buildings & Electric Cable Designs and Standards” from 10th to 12th September 2012 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre, Selangor.
The conference was well managed by iKnowledge and supported by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST). YBhg Datuk Ir Ahmad Fauzi Hasan (CEO of Suruhanjaya Tenaga) was present to give an opening speech and officiate the conference. Engr Fu Wing Hoong (TEEAM President) and YBhg Dato’ Dr Abdul Razak Abdul (MCMA President) were also present to give their keynote addresses.
The distinguished speakers were Ir K T Lim (TEEAM SWO Technical Committee Member), Mr Lokman A Dahlan (SWO Chairman on Cables and Cable Accessories & MCMA Technical Adviser), Ir Tan Chow Heang (Principal Technical Expert, Underground Cable Performance & Diagnostic, TNB Distribution) and Mr Ng Choon Guan (Managing Director of Conway Terminals Manufacturer Sdn Bhd.

Ir Rocky H T Wong (TEEAM SWO Chairman & Technical Adviser) spoke on “The Realities of 2015 – The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) – An Alert to Malaysian Engineers and other Engineering Services Professionals (ESPs)” on the last day of the conference. The event ended with a panel discussion and Q&A session chaired by Ir Rocky H T Wong. The conference attracted an overwhelming participation of 150 people.
