TEEAM was visited by two Research Officers from the Korea Electrical Contractors Association (KECA) on 6th December 2012. They were Mr Lee Byeong-Woong (Team Manager, Planning Department) and Mr Baik Dong Gu (Section Chief, Planning Department). On hand to receive the delegates were TEEAM Officials, Ir Steven Ng Khoon Hwa (Deputy President), Ir Chew Shee Fuee (Vice President), Mr Ho Khai Hong (Honorary Secretary), Mr Suresh Kumar Gorasia (International Affairs Chairman & Past President), and Mr William Young Chee Keong (Trading Committee Member).
KECA hopes to promote sustainable development of the electrical construction business for its members. The purpose of their visit was to obtain information on the E & E market size and to explore joint venture opportunities in Malaysia for their members. The discussion focused on key issues including E & E market overview, construction statistics, foreign & local labour force and labour cost. The delegates had the opportunity to have an in-depth exchange of views on important strategic issues concerning the E& E industry.
The discussion was fruitful with interesting market information being exchanged. The KECA guests thanked TEEAM for the time and opportunity given.
