The TEEAM Council held a meeting in Kota Kinabalu during its networking trip to Sabah to attend the PES anniversary dinner. The meeting was hosted by PES at its premises on the morning of 19th January 2013. It was a good networking trip to establish working relationship with members of PES. Fellowship golf was also arranged by PES at the Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club for the golfers.
During the short 3-day trip, Council members visited the Monkey Tops Safari which is a wetland forest enriched with wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, long tail macaques, crocodiles, fireflies and many species of birds. A trip to the Mari-mari Cultural Village was also arranged where one can experience the rich culture of Sabahan ethnic communities such as Bajau, Lundayeh, Murut, Rungus and Dusun. The Council members also took on an exciting island hopping boat trip to Manukan and Sapi islands. It was fun filling with swimming and snorkeling activities carried out along the white sandy beaches fringed by calm crystal clear water.
TEEAM President, Engr Fu Wing Hoong expressed his gratitude to PES for the warm hospitality and all the arrangements. Everyone certainly had a great stay in the Land Below The Wind!
