The Asia Pacific Regional Conference & Exhibition on Energy Efficiency (APACEEE 2010) was successfully held from 18th to 21st October 2010 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Some 250 participants attended the conference.
The theme of the conference was “Energy Efficiency for Sustainable Development”. The conference brought together regulators, utilities, industries and consumers to share technical knowledge and experiences with regard to energy efficiency and renewable energy issues both locally and regionally
The conference highlighted that energy efficiency and renewable energy are to reduce the impact of energy related activities on the environment and act as tools to improve competitiveness on products and services in the global market. Industries that are energy efficient can also increase their profits whilst unburden the consumer budget significantly just by reducing the energy cost.

The exhibition showcased all available technologies and solutions that can be applied immediately in order to conserve our energy resources, reduce carbon emission and improve competitiveness in the global market via savings churned out from energy efficiency. By combining technical presentations and exhibitions, participants gained a better understanding on the concepts of energy efficiency and its impact towards sustainable development.
