TEEAM held its 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25th May 2014 at TEEAM Conference Room. Some 60 members were present. In his opening address, TEEAM President, Ir Chew Shee Fuee KMN expressed his gratitude to the members and the Council for making time to attend the AGM. Ir Chew called for support and active participation in TEEAM’s ongoing activities. TEEAM will be carrying out a second phase of recycling programme for CFL and this round FL as well. This green project comes under the global environment facility small grant programme.
A national safety campaign on self-test RCCB at home will be carried out from June 2014 – May 2015. TEEAM aims to get 1 million households to test their RCCBs. Roadshows will be held in shopping malls to reach out to the public.
TEEAM will be celebrating its 62nd anniversary on 27th September 2014 at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Ir Chew called on members to support in term of sponsorship.
Later, the minutes of the previous AGM, the Annual Report on the activities of TEEAM for the year 2013 and the Audited Accounts for the year ended 31st December 2013 were tabled and duly adopted by the General Meeting.
