The Conference and Meeting of the ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC) and the Federation of Asian Pacific Electrical Contractors Associations (FAPECA) for 2019 was held from 6 to 8 November 2019 at the Kimdaejung Convention Centre, Gwangju, Korea. The theme for this year’s Conference was ‘Power System Interconnection’. The event was grandly hosted by the Korea Electrical Contractors Association (KECA).

The grand event was held in-conjunction with BIXPO 2019, a Power Energy Exhibition organised by the Korea Electric Power Company (KEPCO).

The conference and meeting drew participation from national associations including the Association of Indonesia Electrical and Mechanical Contractors (AKLI),Hong Kong Electrical Contractors Association (HKECA), Singapore Electrical Contractors and Licensed Electrical Workers Association (SECA), Society of Philippines Electrical Constructors & Suppliers, Inc (SPECS), Taiwan Electrical Contractors Association (TECA), Thai Electrical & Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA), KECA and TEEAM.

TEEAM organised a 10-member delegation to attend the above event.  It was a good platform to network with M & E contractors from ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific region.  A big thank you to the Host, KECA for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements.  The Malaysian delegates truly enjoyed their stay.
