Machinery & Equipment Productivity Nexus (MEPN) Governing Council Meeting – 30th August 2019.  MEPN Implementation Plan over a period of 2 years (2019-2020) has identified 14 projects to be executed by 4 Workgroups. Workgroup 4 headed by TEEAM President, Mr CT Siew and supported by Honorary Secretary, Mr PS Lee is to tackle 6 projects among others are to streamline regulations & import duties; improve SST regime; and emphasis on procurement based on compliance to export quality standards.  It is hoped that through this important platform, industry issues can be addressed.
