Thunderstorms are fascinating yet frightening and cause both awe and insecurity. They not only indicate a drastic change in weather patterns but present considerable risks for people, animals and materials assets such as buildings and installations. Therefore in this regard, timely protection from the possible effects of a thunderstorm is extremely critical.

TEEAM, together with Wise Pro Sdn Bhd jointly organised a one day Seminar on “Lightning Protection & Risk Management” on 22nd August 2017 at Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Some 55 participants from the industry attended this highly informative technical seminar. The distinguished speakers from Wise Pro were Mr Ritesh Lutchman and Mr S. F. Ng. Participants at the seminar had the opportunity to know about the adoption of MS IEC 62035 on Protection against Lightning and simplifying risk analysis with a Dehn Risk Analysis software demonstration.
