On 9th January 2016, Persatuan Kekompetenan Penjaga Jentera & Pendawai Elektrik Perak – PKPPE (The Perak Electrical Chargeman & Wireman Competence Association) paid a courtesy visit to TEEAM. The delegation was led by the then President, Mr Chan Kaim Sam together with some 20 PKPPE fellows and members. The visit to TEEAM was held in conjunction with the TEEAM 2015 Academic Excellence Awards presentation ceremony. On hand to receive the PKPPE delegation were Ir Chew Shee Fuee KMN (President), Mr Suresh Kumar Gorasia (International Affairs Chairman & Past President), Ir Chang Yew Cheong (Vice President) and Council Members: Mr Ho Khai Hong, Mr Ooi Eng Guan, Engr Leong Kam Seng and Ir Kok Yen Kwan.

PKPPE established in 2001 and the association has some 80 members in the profession of electrical chargeman and wireman competency. The aims of PKPPE are to perform as a society and industry representative; and to contribute and improve the community in the Perak state, with the motto: Your Safety, Our Responsibility”. PKPPE joined TEEAM in September 2015.

The courtesy visit aimed to network and create better working relationship, share views on common issues and to discuss possible cooperation between both organisations. PKPPE took the opportunity to highlight their on-going activities and the current issues faced by members.

It was a meaningful visit to enhance cooperation and mutual understanding.IMG_0637
