A 4-day Guangzhou International Lighting & Electrical Building Fair 2010 was successfully held from 9th to 12th June 2010 at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, China. TEEAM is one of the supporting organisations to the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2010 and Electrical Building Technology Fair 2010.

A 12-member delegation from TEEAM headed by Council Member, Mr Lawrence Lai Kun Hoong of Lightning Power Surge Protection Sdn Bhd visited the fair. Other participants were Mr Ng Jia Wen (Lightning Power Surge Protection Sdn Bhd), Mr Narendren Rengasamy (Novabrite Lighting Sdn Bhd), Mr Siew Choon Thye (Megalux Lightings Sdn Bhd), Mr Koh Hark Hwa (Kohsun (KL) Sdn Bhd), Mr Kong Chee Seng (Antara Elektrik Sdn Bhd), Mr Kong Chee Hoong (Antara Elektrik Sdn Bhd), Mr Lum Kok Ming (Antara Elektrik Sdn Bhd), Mr Lim Eng Soo (Antara Elektrik Sdn Bhd), Mr Moh Yuet Hee (Raja Tan Sri Zainal & Phang Sdn Bhd), Mr Wong Keh Voon (Antara Elektrik Sdn Bhd) and Mr Leong Kin Yue (Ablecon Engineering Sdn Bhd).

The event organiser, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd has successfully organised a showcase of the latest development of electrical building technology and products which are more focused on lighting and building technology to cater for the unique demand of buyers/visitors.

The exhibition was specially targeting the broadest lighting portfolio in Asia which has become a gateway to source for quality and competitive value lighting products, equipment and accessories. Thousands of architects, building planners, lighting retailers and wholesalers from around the world converged to seek business opportunity and source products.  It was an effective sourcing platform especially for LED products.  It is the biggest in Asia as a lighting industry show and the world’s second biggest lighting show for lighting products and services.

This technical event is recognised as a quality Asian sourcing platform where exhibitors can meet architects, building authorities, designers, engineers, planners, developers and contractors, local and international manufacturers, vendors, distributors and users from the lighting industries all over the world.

The exhibition was a good platform for exhibitors to showcase new technology and to discuss business opportunities with potential clients. The next edition of the fair will be held from 9th to 12th June 2011at China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, China.
