Elecrama 2010, the 9th international exhibition of electrical and industrial electronics industry was successfully organised from 20th to 24th January 2010 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India.  The exhibition was organised by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA).

IEEMA had been successfully organising Elecrama over the last fifteen years.  The association is one of the key representatives of manufacturers of electrical, professional electronics and allied equipment.

The 5-day event which spanned over 60,000 square meters of exhibition floor space with 1,000 exhibitors, successfully drew over 50,000 business visitors.  Foreign pavilions included China, Germany, Korea, Spain and Taiwan.

TEEAM participated in the exhibition at the kind invitation of IEEMA.  TEEAM received overwhelming responses on members’ products and services at the TEEAM booth. Besides exhibiting, TEEAM also organised a 12-member trade delegation to visit the gigantic exhibition.  The vast exhibits spread over five exhibition halls.  It was a good platform for Malaysian electrical companies to look at Indian products, solutions and services.  There were opportunities in technology partnership, tapping investment prospects and adding value to their business portfolio.

The TEEAM delegation also had the opportunity to meet some Executive Council Members of IEEMA for a fruitful discussion. Delegates were impressed by the vast exhibits and the innovative technologies displayed. Come 2012, this biennial exhibition will be a “must see” global event for the E&E and power engineering industry.
