TEEAM attended the 2014 conference and meeting of the Asean Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC) and the Federation of Asian Pacific Electrical Contractors Associations (FAPECA) in Taiwan. The event held from 26th to 27th May 2014 at Taipei Howard Plaza was hosted by the Taiwan Electrical Contractors Association (TECA). 

As usual the annual conference and meeting drew participation from national associations including Association of Indonesian Electrical and Mechanical Contractors (AKLI), Korea Electrical Contractors Association (KECA), National Electrical and Communications Association, Australia (NECA Australia),  Singapore Electrical Contractors and Licensed Electrical Workers Association (SECA), Society of Philippine Electrical Constructors & Suppliers (SPECS), Thai Electrical & Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA), Hong Kong Electrical Contractors Association (HKECA), TECA and TEEAM.

The conference papers delivered were based on the theme “Safety”. TEEAM Safety & Quality Chairman, Mr Dahari Mat Siran spoke on “RCCB Safety”. The conference papers were informative and all delegates had a knowledge enhancing experience.

The 52nd AFEEC Council Meeting and 28th FAPECA Executive Board Meeting were convened after the Safety Conference.  

TEEAM delegates wished to put in record their heartfelt appreciation to TECA for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements.  The event was fruitful and memorable, and everyone certainly had a great time in Taipei.  TEMCA Thailand will host the 2015 conference and meeting in Pattaya.
