On 22nd November 2010, the EUMalaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry arranged for a meeting between  Mr Francois Cherer and TEEAM officials.  Mr Cherer is an evaluator of the European Commission on Asean Programme for Regional Integration.

TEEAM  officials Ir Chew Shee Fuee (Vice President), Mr Ho Khai Hong (Honorary Secretary) and Ir Rocky Wong Hon Thang (Honorary Fellow cum Technical Adviser) received the guest at TEEAM.

A discussion was held to determine the awareness of TEEAM members on the Asean economic integration policies in general and specific trade policies which are being discussed/implemented.  Mr Cherer is tasked to support Asean Member States to achieve economic integration objectives, specifically in the area of trade facilitation, harmonisation of standards and customs procedures.  It was a very fruitful and educational discussion.
