On 24th June 2011, TEEAM received some visiting guests from the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA). They were Mr Sunil More (IEEMA Mentor), Mr Deepak Swaminathan (Marketing Consultant for Elecrama 2012), Mr Santosh Kumar and Mr Jayandh Owen, both from SEA Marketing Co Ltd. They were here on a road show to promote the Elecrama 2012 which will be held from 18th to 22nd January 2012 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India.
On hand to receive the visiting guests were TEEAM officials, Mr Suresh Kumar Gorasia (Past President), Mr Ho Khai Hong (Honorary Secretary), Mr Jack Soon Lee Hock (Assistant Honorary Secretary), Mr Ooi Eng Guan (Council Member) and Mr William Young Chee Keong (Internal Auditor).
Elecrama is the world’s largest electrical and industrial electronics exhibition and the exclusive forum for the electrical and electronics industry in India. Each year the exhibition attracts many professional customers’ extensive concern. Elecrama 2012 is the 10th edition show on power transmission and distribution, and the scale will be larger than ever before. The forthcoming exhibition will include more professional subject discussions for electrical and electronics industries related to the manufacturers in the Middle East market.
The exhibitors profile includes equipment for railway electrification signalling and communication; equipment for generation, transmission, distribution, protection and utilisation of electrical power; computer hardware and software, data information and processing systems.

Concurrent event to be held along Elecrama 2012 is the Asian edition of a leading global smart grid summit which sets to explore smart grid’s impact on economy, utility infrastructure, consumers and the environment. Seminars will discuss challenges and opportunities in the transmission and distribution systems. Tutorials led by specialists will see technical knowledge sharing sessions with participants.
With over 50,000 sqm of exhibition space and more than 500 exhibitors from all over the world, Elecrama is set to be the biggest forum for convergence of trade and users of the electrical and electronics industry. It is anticipated that over 50,000 trade visitors will be visiting the exhibition.
