Members’ Advisory – E&E Sector Activities is Allowed to Resume Business Beginning 4th May 2020
TEEAM thanks YAB Prime Minister and the Government following the announcement on 1st May 2020 which allow most economic sectors and business activities including the E&E industry be allowed to resume business on 4th May 2020, under a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Starting 4th May 2020, TEEAM Members only need to declare company information and agree with the SOP compliance pledge at http://notification.miti.
The SOP issued by the National Security Council – MKN is included in this advisory (Click here). The SOP will be updated from time to time and members are advised to check on the MKN website www.mkn.gov.my for any further updates. MITI’s Media Release on Restarting the Economy is also enclosed (Click here). Members are encouraged to adhere to the directives made by the Government.
In addition, Members are encouraged to download and register for the MySejahtera application. Click here to download the apps. MySejahtera is an application developed by the Government to assist in managing the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The Apps also helps individuals to identify COVID-19 hotspots in housing areas and workplace. TEEAM strongly urged members to support this Government’s initiative.
